Cool tutorial but some need instructions on doing the base drawing... Was it in grayscale and all on one layer? I am guessing you used reduced opacity but gradients and stuff I still haven't figured out yet. Gah!

Please keep posting your tutorials and WIPs. I always pick up something from them.

Very happy to hear you learn something from this little tutorials of mine. :)

For the base drawing, yeah... it was done in one layer and in grayscale but you can do it in 2 or even 5 layers but be sure to merge them before you go to the color adjustment tool. As for drawing/painting, i usually go for somewhere in between 40-70% opacity with a hard brush... even lower to 20% for clean blends. I have never used gradients. :)

Nice, that helps a lot :) And how do you use gradients?

I juz basically use a simple brush with 30-40% opacity. Gradients tend to happen by themselves by varying the number of times you brush over areas. :)
